IWGA Announces New Vineyard Manager Apprenticeship Program

The Iowa Wine Growers Association (IWGA) has added a new Vineyard Manager track to their Registered Apprenticeship Program. The Vineyard Manager (Agricultural Service Worker) program is designed for employees to “learn while they earn” how to oversee and maintain a quality vineyard. This program joins the already established Cellar Worker and Wine Maker tracks that have been available since the launch of the program in 2016.

The 2021 Iowa Specialty Producers Conference Goes Virtual, Jan. 19 - 20, 2021

The Iowa Specialty Producers Conference is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 19-20, 2021. This second joint gathering of the Iowa Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and the Iowa Wine Growers Association will take place entirely online. In addition. the Iowa Wine Growers Association is hosting a virtual Wine Marketing Workshop on Thursday, January 21, 2021 for industry members.
